(in which besides the enlightening on several of the places of Ptolemy, on the compass, the magnetic needle, the provinces are made known, as well as the peoples, kingdoms, towns, ports, mountains, rivers, lakes, and customs of Africa, with twelve maps engraved on copperplate, to which was added three indices composed by Jean-Charles Saraceni.) The maps were drawn by Livio Sanuto and engraved and published by his brother Guilio after the death of Livio and no other regions were completed
