Notes: [Swann source] Large lithographed case wall map of colonial Africa. 60x53 inches overall, dissected into 48 segments and mounted to original linen backing with marbled paper self-wrappers; strong original hand-color in full; minor staining at several folds but overall excellent condition; cover remnants of original Stanford-labeled cloth case preserved; James B. Ford's Explorers Club bookplates to map verso (bearing "Sold By" stamp). Scarce, with one institutional example located.
